Write a “Don’t forget…” statement about something we need to remember for social studies SOL testing.  Begin your statement with “Don’t forget…” 

For example:  Don’t forget that the Cumberland gap is the narrow passageway between the Appalachian mountains that the settlers crossed through to migrate west in search of land and new opportunities.

I would like to respectfully disagree with some posted facts.
James,
The Native Americans harvested in the FALL….everything “Harvest” is in the fall…hence the name “Harvest Moon” because they could continue harvesting after dark, by the light of the moon. Harvest moon is usually near the end of September or October. FALL, not WINTER!

James Madison did NOT write the Virginia Declaration of Rights….it was GEORGE MASON!!! Get your facts right before you post it on here, or you might mess someone else up!
